What is this program?
The Community Tourism Action Plan (CTAP) program is a yearly, on-going tourism marketing and community development investing program benefiting Washtenaw County.
Who is eligible?
Proponent applications can be local community governments or respective government-approved local community businesses or other associations. Funding is provided through the attached CTAP application which is to be approved by the Washtenaw County CVB CTAP Committee. The application can be downloaded here.
Monies applied for are to be given on a 20% matching basis. Higher consideration will be given to projects that include more than one vested stakeholder resulting in the leveraging of the grant dollars. Grant denials are at the discretion of the Grant Committee: Ex: Farmers Markets, Contractors for development of site plans, events for strictly local audience.
